In Memory

Today Dad left this plane to begin his voyage on the other side. I am very fortunate to have had both of my parents for so long and now begin the rest of my life missing one of them.

I want to thank you Pop for keeping us laughing until today.  I am forever in your debt for your unconditional love and support and so grateful you were my dad.

  6. I am so sorry for your loss. Even when it is expected or indeed when it is a relief it is still a sad loss. My condolences. But what a handsome man he was. When my dad died a very kindly lady told me to look out for a white feather, as that is the symbol of your guardian angel. Of course I looked all week and nothing happaned but on the last morning as I was about to leave for the drive back to France a HUGE white feather floated down at my feet! You can choose to believe or not (I personally DO believe in the after life) but either way that feather was a huge comfort to me and I carry it everywhere with me in my purse.

    Take care. Anna

  10. My deepest sympathies. I know you will always miss him, and it will take a long time before the pain and sense of loss eases. Cherish the memories of your many years with him. The pain will ease, eventually. Thank you for sharing his favorite hymn; it is a beautiful hymn.
