Almost

I had planned to post a pic of Son3 doing what he loves, but time, tide, tornados and American Airlines had other ideas. So here is a pic of him doing what he loves a couple of years ago. Use your imagination and imagine your favorite jazz tune played by a 16 piece jazz orchestra  instead of an ensemble and being played in a concert hall rather than a jazz club.
Oh well, there is always March, or is there?

Maybe next time

    1. I am kind of fond of it also, but I am also smitten with an upright bass.

  3. I am listening in my head. As my daughter plays violin, I don't get to many jazz concerts but son played saxophone back in the day.

    1. We went to a concert this past weekend and heard Henry Butler (jazz pianist) who had a beautiful jazz violinist in his orchestra. Who knew?

  4. Enjoyed the clip. I played tenor sax in the jazz band in high school and it was some of the most fun I've had. Is you son making a career of this? My nephew plays sax in all kinds of groups, but has a day job to play the bills.

    1. He hopes to make a career of it. I think he understands he will probably have to have some supplemental income so he is not ruling out teaching trombone.

    1. Thank you. TheHub and I look at each other and wonder where this came from. It must be some weird genetic cocktail because we are not terribly musical yet all three sons are very talented musically. I would blame the milkman but we lived in 3 different cities when they came along.
