The Bard said it best in his play "Twelfth Night"
"If music be the food of love, play on"
Let's skew his meaning a bit and see just where the love of food and the love of music takes us.
Anne, I saw this on the news this morning and thought of you! LOL Crazy crazy weather for the south! The storm is heading our way early tomorrow morning with a predicted 3 to 7 inches....But, that is expected for Connecticut! =)
Too funny!!! We're way up just in a northwest suburb of Chicago and you got more snow than we did. Please keep it down your way! :-) We're dealing with bitter cold and windy! Hope it's back to normal for you soon!
Yep earlier in the week I was outside in capris and flip flops. It has been beautiful though. We got about 3 inches of lovely white stuff and now it can go away
Since I live 50 miles north of you, we got some of that, too. My car had an inch of snow. Exbf drove out of that picture...lol. It was 71 here on Monday. I am considering putting on socks. I broke down and slipped on shoes. People up here are still in sandals. I am glad we got it because it so pretty and equally glad it will be gone soon.
It sounds like you had the perfect experience of snow? Short lived and non-disruptive. Not that I would know anything about perfect snow, I've only seen it once and that was during a summer holiday!
Hey y'all thanks for leaving a comment. They are much appreciated. I read them all and do my best to respond to them, except for trolls or spam and I delete those suckers forever.
We're getting that tonight, but it's not so unusual here. Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteYeah, I know. This week I have worn short and flip flops and now this. My lantana is blooming but is now snow covered.
DeleteAw it will be gone soon. Enjoy it and be glad it's not something that hangs around ALL Winter(and then some).
ReplyDeleteI am glad it is a rarity and it looks like it is about to stop. We are just not supposed to have this ever in December.
ReplyDeleteOh my, definitely not Alabama weather!!
ReplyDeleteNope but it is melting today and we can get back to normal!

ReplyDeleteWe are through with it now. You can have it back!
DeleteOh my.
ReplyDeleteIt looks beautiful, albeit a shock to the system after the weather you have been having.

ReplyDeleteWe wound up with about 3 inches, but the streets were clear and I had power so I am calling it good.
DeleteWish we had that here. Today it has just been COLD!
ReplyDeleteI wish you had it there too! I don't like snow, especially when I have a lot of stuff to do.
DeleteSorry but from my perspective that's just funny! Anna
ReplyDeleteYep! I don't mind an occasional snow but we only get it during February or early March
DeleteWe're having a big thunderstorm. Franklin and Penelope don't want to go out, and I don't blame them.
ReplyDeleteLove,
Janie
Me either! I will take the white stuff over cold rain any day!
DeleteLooks like a "winter wonderland"!
ReplyDeleteIt was very beautiful and the best thing about an Alabama snow is that it is usually gone in a day.
DeleteAnd I live in CANADA and it's NOT snowing!!!!!
ReplyDeleteIt came and now it is gone except for the very shady spots.
DeleteI’m so jealous! Not a bit in my area of NC
ReplyDeleteIt was a pleasant one day enow that caused no disruptions.
DeleteI love this! snowing here in maine today---finally!
ReplyDeleteWow, absolutely fantastic blog. I am very glad to have such useful information.

ReplyDeleteIt was a beautiful yet non disruptive snow. So it was perfect but unexpected.
