We are back from visiting the most beautiful girl in our world.
The Bard said it best in his play "Twelfth Night" "If music be the food of love, play on" Let's skew his meaning a bit and see just where the love of food and the love of music takes us.

Awww...she is so precious! Sorry about your extra "gift" flying home...that stinks! =(
ReplyDeleteThanks, Traycee!
DeleteLOL! Oh no! I'm sorry to laugh but that was just funny! So sorry your feeling bad and over Thanksgiving too :(
ReplyDeleteTania
It was not so funny at 5 this morning when I woke sneezing and coughing my head off, so I felt I had to post my displeasure with the guy who literally coughed and sneezed all over us from Atlanta to Portland.
DeleteShe is a cutie. I hate to have to be near people who are sick and don't mind sharing.
ReplyDeleteFlying when people are sick near you is the worst! I only fly a couple times a year but hubby flies often and he comes home with the worst bugs. He even carries hand santizer everywhere and cleans everything off in every hotel room with it but still ends up sick. Happy Thanksgiving and I hope you feel better!
ReplyDeleteI will feel better, but this is not what I wanted to bring home with me.!
DeleteI am glad that you got to spend time with that precious girl - and so very sorry that the price was high. How I wish that the coughers and sneezers would stay home.
ReplyDeleteI do too, E.C. but I know it will never happen!
DeleteSome of the worst colds I've ever had were the result of flying a few days before and I've taught elementary school for over 30 years. My husband used to fly a great deal and would always come home sick with colds.
ReplyDeleteYeah it is a crappy way to end a trip.
DeleteLook at that little Balletdreama. B brought home something from her flight and now I have it. We can sit and mouth breath together.
ReplyDeleteIt's the gift that keeps giving!
DeleteShe's a cutie! We are down with bad colds and bad backs (husband) and 14 for Thanksgiving dinner tomorrow. I didn't fly to get my sinus and ear infection, but I have a feeling it is courtesy of our grandchildren's elementary school! Antibiotics are helping, but I think house cleaning will be of the "whipped cream on the garbage can variety". (Looks clean, but don't look too hard.) Hope you feel better soon and have a Happy Thanksgiving!
ReplyDeleteHope a good night's sleep will help you tremendously. Happy Thanksgiving!
DeleteWhat a beautiful little girl. Aaaah, I want one. Anna
ReplyDeleteA little time is all it takes. After 3 sons she is our little princess, plus all I have to do is love her with no real responsibility. Best present ever!
DeleteWhat a cutie!!!! and I'm sorry you caught the crud...
ReplyDeleteThank you and I am silently cursing the dude who shared it.
DeleteShe looks adorable, Anne. I'm sure you had a lovely visit with her. I am very sorry to hear you caught a virus, though. My daughter claims that is how she got sick, too - fellow passengers who share their germs so freely! Hope you feel better, soon!
ReplyDeleteI am just glad this did not hit until we got home so we enjoyed every minute with her.
ReplyDeleteShe looks a real charmer!
ReplyDeleteColds are awful but thankfully short lived
You are right about colds, they don;t last too long. I plan on feeling much better tomorrow
DeleteThat's an adorable picture! We are visiting with my mother now and my son has a cold. So he is wearing a mask when he visits. A nursing home is not the place to spread a cold.
ReplyDeleteHappy Thanksgiving.
No it is not. I have not seen Mom since I returned but I do not want to be around her while I am contagious.
DeleteGlad you enjoyed your holiday - too bad about the jerk on the plane. I've had that happen too - my first flight to the UK was ruined by a guy sucking up mucus for 6 hours straight! I tried to keep my head turned away from him and luckily didn't catch anything. Hope you're better soon!
ReplyDeleteThis has gone on long enough and I am cursing the plane guy every chance I get
