Know what I did to prepare for the holidays in the 44th week before Christmas???
Jack Squat
I spent about 10 minutes upstairs in the room of horrors but only sorted some of the Halloween decorations, leaving anything Christmas untouched. Not my finest!
Maybe I will be more productive this week, and maybe not. Right now I would place betting money on not, but who knows? Hope springs eternal.
You know, right after Christmas, I decided I was going to do some things all throughout the year to make the Christmas season easier and more enjoyable. And guess what? I did one thing! I ordered my wrapping paper because it was on sale, and I packed it away. That's it. So, there's that! Have a cozy day, my friend!
ReplyDeleteI am consciously trying to do something every week, but I figured there would be weeks when I did nothing. I just did not think it would happen so soon.
DeleteChristmas is 10 months from today! I hope the year doesn't fly by.
ReplyDeleteFrom my perspective how fast January and February have flown, I am going to (hopefully) get the decorations closet cleaned and reorganized just in time to get all the stuff out again.
DeleteI just love you so much, I think you and I are really twins and Sissie is just a secret witch from another realm.
ReplyDeleteThere I nothing I can't put off doing other than true necessities of a physical nature. All else is up to whim and personal discretion . My Beloved Sister is much like Sissy and sometimes creates work just to appear busier than she needs to be.
DeleteOh, no, Just 44 weeks til Christmas! Your title is giving me anxiety because I'm not doing anything. I think I'll just go bury my head. :)
ReplyDeleteWell, if you do the math you are in no danger of being overwhelmed later in the year. I just know my weaknesses and my procrastinating tendencies. When I have to publicly admit I have done nothing, I probably should be shamed or guilted into getting the lead out of my pants. Seems I am ok with admissions and still doing nothing.
DeleteWell, it's not going to grow legs and walk away, so it will be there when you are feeling it. No worries!
ReplyDeleteThat is the truth. If it would walk away it would be great. I have already forgotten some of the things I found in random boxes. It they would walk away I probably would not remember half of the things I own
DeleteMaybe you'll get double the amount done, next week. Or, maybe not. But, we appreciate the transparency. :)
ReplyDeleteCHRISTMAS!!! How dare you bring it up before all of my decorations have been put away.
ReplyDeleteWell I found a kids Santa suit this week at Goodwill,I bought it . Why? I don’t know, but it’s adorable.
ReplyDeleteLove it.
