  1. I love #20. I was a newspaper reporter in high school. I covered several of the high school sports and was paid for inch of type print. It was enough to keep me in spending money. I was the token girl.

    1. I was on the newspaper staff and also the annual staff in high school, but they were extracurricular non paid opportunities.
My best friend's dad was the sports editor of a local paper, so I kind of grew up seeing his work (and him work) on a regular basis. I did not want to work for a newspaper though. I wanted to be an AP line reporter and wanted to live in Europe

  2. Love your list.
The destruction of our native flora and fauna is making my eyes leak copiously at the moment. Grief, despair, helplessness and anger are ugly emotions.
I like autumn, spring and winter best.
I don't think I am an influencer - in either direction. Which is fine by me.

    1. I read about al of the devastation daily and my heart hurts for the entire continent.
I don't see myself as an influencer either, nor have I ever tried to be unless I personally gave birth to you and was responsible for your raising.

  3. #20...in kindergarten, the student teacher asked us all what we wanted to be when we grew up. There were only two other girls besides me in the class, and they said "nurse." I said "a mother," and I couldn't figure out why the student teacher and my teacher laughed. Later, I said journalist, and I think I succeeded: I was a reporter, a d.j., legislative aide/speechwriter, and finally, a bank administrator. After I left the work force, I became a dance teacher. I never would have answered with any of these as a kid!
Other quick answers: Fall is my favorite season, and I much prefer Christmas, but I like the run up far better than the actual day. As for picture on my phone? Heh. I don't have a phone, and don't want one. I like being unfettered when I am away from the house.

    1. I do like having a phone, but I tend to turn the ringer off when I am away from home and will only check to see if it is a call from one of Mom's sitters.

  5. Anne, thank you for playing along! I wish I had thought of changing question #2, myself! I considered listing Madame X, but, I do prefer musicals, so listed two of those, instead! :)

  6. You have to let me know. How do you sleep in a gown and not get it all bunched up around you?

    1. TheHub makes fun of me. I will put on a long flannel gown to sit around and watch TV in, but I wear a second gown under it for sleeping. Really short with spaghetti straps because I cant stand the bunching and do not like my arms restricted while I sleep

  7. The one item that resonated the most with me is #13. If I could I'd want to talk to my mom who passed away 2003. I still talk to her, I just don't hear her answers.

On the same vein, I don't recall what I wanted to be when I was very young, but as a teenager I decided a psychologist would be a good option...until I learned how long and how costly it would be, then I wanted to be an actor. What I didn't want to be was an accountant or a teacher which my mom thought I should do. She got the last laugh when I completed my designation in 2001, and taught various courses as part of my workload.

    Have a great day!

  8. I am a rebel - I love ham and pineapple pizza, made even better with peppers and shrimp :) I would move to Mexico if we didn't have so many attachments to Canada - but I do love where we live now so theres that. Tea (get heartburn now from Coffee so gave it up). Would talk to my father in law. He's missed so much since he has passed. I cry almost daily, mostly due to a tear duct issue but also since I can cry at the drop of a hat at any sad sack story including sad commercials (really). But not ugly cry, I save that for about 1 time a year.

    1. I have no problem with whatever anyone eats on their pizza, mine is just a no pineapple zone. It is funny who people would love to talk to again. Almost everyone would love to talk with a departed relative.
