Dinner Plans . . . Maybe

I am not even going to begin listing what all we ate the past couple of weeks. Just understand it entailed a lot of eating, either out, takeout, or chef cooked meals in the villa. I personally have not cooked at all since we left for our trip, which means we have done takeout every night that we have been home. That stops tonight, maybe, though Son1 and Pip will be here until Wednesday morning so any plans we make could change at a moments notice.

Going forward these are my plans, which are subject to change.
1, Burgers and all the fixings, tater tots, something green
2. White bbq chicken, baked beans, caulitato/regular potato salad
3. Veggie meal TBD
4. Big salad dinner TBD
5. Un-fried chicken, rice, gravy, broccoli
6. Out to eat
7. Veggie meal TBD

Have a great week staying on plan, going off plan, or with no plan at all

  1. I'm sure you've been having a wonderful time!! Enjoy. You deserved a good break from cooking. I still need to do the white bbq chicken. I keep forgetting.

    1. The white bbq chicken is part of my plan for the Fourth, which might happen or might not. It really just depends on my mood for the day.

    1. Sadly Regine, I took very few photos. I am more of a live the moment vs. capture the moment type of person.

  6. I was thinking of you all today when I read of Hurricane Beryl. So glad you are home safely, and I'm sure you all had a wonderful time. And not having to cook sounds like a wonderful vacation too.

  10. We have so many cooked proteins in freezer, also thawed stuff to cook. We will eat well, as I am sure you will. Does Pip ever join you in cooking?

    1. Pip made pimento cheese yesterday, but that is just making, not cooking. She likes to mess around in the kitchen and would help if I were actually cooking.

  13. The sea bass with the pea puree was outstanding. The beef tenderloin was sliced then grilled and served with a wine reduction, sautéed peppers, onions, celery root, and carrots. It was delicious.
