The Bard said it best in his play "Twelfth Night"
"If music be the food of love, play on"
Let's skew his meaning a bit and see just where the love of food and the love of music takes us.

Signs of the Times
There is currently a "sign war" going in in one of the suburban cities in the Birmingham Metro area. I thought I might share them with you for some giggles.
Anne, I have seen some of these on the news. You did a more thorough coverage, though. I think all this is so funny. Yes, folks, we put these on the news down here.
I love this! I think our town was one of the first with the sign wars! It started with a music store and super shoes, and most of the town got involved. :)
Hey y'all thanks for leaving a comment. They are much appreciated. I read them all and do my best to respond to them, except for trolls or spam and I delete those suckers forever.
I absolutely love this. What a fun way for a town to come together.
ReplyDeleteI love it too!
DeleteToo funny! But not as funny as watching Kim and I fight over dropped change in the drive-thru lane at Mickey D's. 8-)))
ReplyDeleteI am waiting for my chance to see the Great Coin Hunt live and in person!

I love it. If there were not an issue with the Colonial pipeline right now I would head to Gardendale to see it live and in person.
DeleteI love it! I want the whole world to lighten up and just have fun!
ReplyDeleteMe and thee, Martha!
DeleteThis is so fun. We all need more of this. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteI could not agree more, Bobi!
DeleteOh my, that's hilarious! I'm assuming it was the jeweler and Chick-fil-A that started it?
ReplyDeleteI think the jeweler began the entire thing and the rest of the community just joined in the merriment.
DeleteWhat fun - for everyone.
ReplyDeleteI know I have enjoyed it and I am sure everyone in their community has too!
DeleteReally, really funny. :-)
ReplyDeleteI needed something funny!
DeleteAbsolutely love it! We need more fun in our lives.
ReplyDeleteI love in this era of contention that some people are still willing to just have a little fun.
DeleteOh that is absolutely brilliant. Isn't it great when someone let's their sense of humour shine through!
ReplyDeleteI agree on both points. I just wish it had happened in my community.
DeleteLove it a community that just has fun and really supports each other.
ReplyDeleteI do too. I don't think mine would ever do that except for one Veterinarian who posts funny things all the time.
DeleteToo funny
ReplyDeleteI love it. I wish more communities would do something similar.
DeletePerfect, thank you, some of them made me laugh out loud ;)
ReplyDeleteIt is a wonderful community builder!
DeleteSo fun! I wish Montgomery and Mobile would do something like this!
ReplyDeleteI wish my community wold do something like this too!
DeleteSo funny. I shared with daughter. :)
ReplyDeleteI love these. I've also read about funny Twitter wars between businesses.
ReplyDeleteLove,
Janie
