The Bard said it best in his play "Twelfth Night"
"If music be the food of love, play on"
Let's skew his meaning a bit and see just where the love of food and the love of music takes us.
I don't understand this concept of Christmas being one day, only! I always thought that Christmas lasted for 12 days, ending with Epiphany. But then, what do I know? I'm Buddhist!
I usually have the Christmas blues for a little bit that evening. It is because I'm thinking of all the things I could/should have done, missing those that are no longer here, etc. I'm working on that.
I had my "missing the parents" moment early Christmas morning, but over brunch we all talked about them and some of the special memories we had. It turned into a lot of laughter.

ReplyDeleteI will keep hoping for the best and will try to find joys each day.
