Heads Up For Christmas 2024

It is the best time of the year to  stock up on these items for next Christmas.

And just in case you didn't get what you really wanted for Christmas try clicking here

Personally I neither needed nor wanted anything, and actually need to get rid of a decent percentage of the items in this house. (Does anyone really need multi sets of anything?)

  1. I am OVER shopping. And am pretty certain that if I was to be organised and buy things now I would lose them before next Christmas. Less is more is fast becoming my mantra for the year.

    1. The only thing I could think of that I might possibly need for next year was a pack of gift tags since I used every single one I had left from the past 5 or so years this Christmas. Funny thing, TheHub stopped in to buy bananas yesterday and came home with a pack of them the store had on a table for 50 cents.

  2. I need a new pair of jeans. I will eventually get around to purchasing them. Cindy in the South

    1. I don't think a new pair of jeans counts as overdoing unless you currently have a glut of them on hand.

  3. I didn't need or want anything for Christmas, but thanks for the link. I found something I could use for cleaning.

    1. I looked at the list and found nothing I need, and then the downstairs vacuum died!

  4. I used to love shopping the after Christmas sales! Holiday items would go on sale for 75% off in early January and I would stock up on gifts for the following year.
Thank you for the links; I found something I wanted on the second site and I forwarded the link to my daughter so she could buy it for me for the next gift giving occasion!

    1. I used to do the after Christmas sales also but now everyone in my realm is an adult and has just about everything they could possibly need. The only exception is Pip and it is just too far out to buy her things because she is growing and what she wants will change drastically over a years time.

  5. Sometimes it horrifies me to see more stuff coming into my house since I'm trying to get rid of so much clutter but what can I say. At least my one son always gets me a voucher to my favourite garden centre so that's not gonna take up much space is it. Oh and thanks for the card!

    1. The garden center gift is great. One son gave me digital books which I love. I can read them in bed at night with no light, plus they take up no space.

  6. I too clicked on the link but didn't find anything I wanted. But as I read the comments and saw that people were finding useful things, maybe I should go back and look again.:)

  7. I'd much rather have experiences than stuff. Like so many, I'm trying to get rid of the things that clutter my home. It's a little better after moving, but I'm shocked at the number of boxes still in the garage.
I'll admit to doing a little Boxing Day shopping for my daughter and grandson but for me, it was a few grocery items that were marked down.

  8. I will admit I used to love shopping the day after Christmas but haven't done that in many years. I want less and less each year.

    1. What I really want is someone to just come and get rid of some of the stuff I have that I do not want or need.

Hey y'all thanks for leaving a comment. They are much appreciated. I read them all and do my best to respond to them, except for trolls, spam, and AI. I delete those suckers forever.
