What's for Dinner?

I had absolutely no plan for our meals for the week, so there was no way I could be either on or off plan.
Plan or no plan dinner happens every day.

Last week's unplanned dinners:
Monday: Out to eat, either lasagne or antipasto platter and salad

Tuesday: Leftovers from Monday night

Wednesday: One dish taco skillet meal, coleslaw

Thursday: Kung pow chicken over rice or cauliflower rice

Friday: Bbq, pork potato salad, baked beans, coleslaw, buns , chocolate chip, and peanut butter cookies

Saturday: Spaghetti bolognese, tossed salad, croissants, cheesecake

Sunday: Leftovers from the bbq meal

What may or may not happen this week:
We have 2 events planned this week that will include meals out
Leftover from the BBQ meal
Leftovers from the spaghetti meal
Big salad meal TBD
Greek chicken, Greek potatoes, green beans
Soup and sandwich TBD

Have a great week staying on plan, going off plan, or with no plan at all.

  1. No plan about covers me. Though himself has expressed a wish for a beef casserole that will probably happen today or tomorrow. Fortunately he likes leftovers.

    1. You are kind to make meals you will not eat to satisfy himself. I am not sure I would be so accommodating

  2. I don't have any plans set in stone for the week. I do better at posting what we ate last week because I do know that. LOL

    1. I actually only make a plan as a visual for me to see what we have that we need to use, so most weeks it is just a suggestion to keep me from letting foods ruin.

  3. We had two different family dinners over the weekend, and now we're enjoying the leftovers. That was our plan. :)

  4. I know what we have and plan to eat it at some point during the week. That is my plan every week. Sometimes, that does not even happen.

  5. I went to Laurel, Mississippi this weekend and enjoyed looking at some of the restored houses/ businesses from the HGTV HOMETOWN series. I went to the Lauren Rogers Art Museum where they had a Van Gogh exhibit as well as other artists. It is a beautiful little town. So I didn’t do much dinner planning for the week. I have spinach, potatoes, sweet potatoes and onions, and that has all been tossed into a cast iron skillet with a little olive oil for my side items this week. A can of salmon has worked as my main protein, since I hate salmon unless it is from a can and only a certain brand…. go figure. I also don’t like salmon patties, just want to eat it raw with hot sauce straight from the can… weird I know. So, not a lot of planning going on here. Cindy in the South

    1. Both nights this week are events, but not really a break because they involve getting all gussied up.
